2024-03-22: Classic Car

We started the day off with a ride in one of Havanas infamous classic cars. After the 1960 embargo Cubans could no longer get American cars so since then they have just kept repairing and reusing the cars that are already here.
These days most of these classic cars are used for tourism, but some of them, as well as plenty of Russian, Chinese, Japanese, and European cars from the 60s-80s are used as daily drivers or work vehicles. Apparently many of them have had their engines replaced with Japanese engines, but our driver claimed that this car had its original engine with over a million miles on it.
