2024-03-23: Cuban Breakfast
Author: Rob
Today we’re traveling from Havana west to Viñales, a rural valley area known for its agriculture (tobacco as well as food crops) and natural beauty. We arranged to have breakfast at our Airbnb, where it’s common for hosts to provide breakfast for a few bucks a person. They made us the classic strong Cuban coffee, fresh fruit including papaya, pineapple, guava, and banana, fresh guava juice, eggs, ham, cheese, and Cuban bread. This was a nice meal, on par with the tourists breakfasts we’ve had so far, and a bargain at $5/person.
