2024-03-22: El Floridita

After lunch we took a Coco-movil, basically a tuktuk shaped like a coconut, to El Floridita, a bar famous for inventing the daiquiri as well as for being Hemingway’s favorite Havana haunt. The place was packed and raucous with live music. We managed to snag a couple of seats next to a life sized bronze statue of Hemingway. To be honest I wasn’t super impressed with the daiquiri, but it was a cool spot with a fun vibe.
